Per il debutto in questa campagna vengo fatto oggetto di una vile aggressione sugli Ered Luin da parte di Angmar.
Decido di prendere di petto il mio avversario, con cui abbiamo concordato una partita a 700 punti.
Schiero Glorfindel, Gildor (con 4 sivani con arco e 4 con pugnali da lancio), Erestor e falange di Elfi a riempire. Mi trovo di fronte Bhurdur, Shade de Corrotto su bestia alata. Tanti orchi, 6 spettri delle paludi e qualche warg.
Grazie al bonus dataomi dall'essere in difesa posso alterare il tiro per la scelta dello scenario, e opto per un "A clash by Moonlight", contando di sfruttare al massimo le abilità balistiche dei miei prodi recchieapunta.
Complice qualche titubanza da parte di Angmar, e una certa dose di fortuna, tutto va secondo i piani. Il tiro si rivela davvero letale, Glorfindel abbatte Bhurdur ed Erestor decapita senza pietà il corrotto. Angmar è stata respinta!

Stanco di cincischiare all'Ovest della terra di Mezzo, decido di imbarcarmi per invadere un territorio presidiato da Giacomo e dalla sua forza di Rohan dalle parti di Dol Amroth. Concordiamo una partita a 800 punti, e volendo provare qualcosa di nuovo porto:
Elrond
2 Cavalieri GB
4 Archi
6 lance
5 Spade
1 Stendardo
Gandalf a Cavallo
Radagast su Slitta
Il mio avversario mi sorprende con la Leggendara del fosso di Helm (Aragorn, Haleth, Theoden, Gamling,6 archi elfici e truppaglia per un totalee di 43 modelli)
Ecco la mia faccia quando mi rivela la lista:

Scenario, di nuovo A clash By Moonlight. Per farla breve i miei tre maghi fanno il loro sporco dovere (Elrond particolarmente attivo, grazie ai rinforza volontà di Gandalf lancia ben 3 ire del Bruinen durante la partita) dando davvero molto fastidio, mentre Giacomo paga un pò la sua inesperienza e fa qualche errorino che alla fine gli costerà la partita. Andiamo entrambi in rotta, ma travolgo Haleth con la slitta di Radagast, e questo mi consente di conqustare una vittoria minore. Foto random:

Molto bello questo topic, lo seguo attentamente !
Sarebbe interessante ogni tanto inserire la mappa per vedere come procede il tuoo, o in alternativa scrivere 2 righe su chi é messo bene e chi meno bene.

I primi turni sono stati "di assestamento", di fatto ci sono state davvero poche battaglie. I giocatori hanno allargato i loro domini e tastato il terreno(a parte Mordor che è andata come un treno a conquistare Mirkwood)...nei prossimi metterò qualche riferimento in più.

Aggiornamento alla fine del quarto turno.
I primi sono stati turni di assestamento ed espansione territoriale un po' per tutti. Le mie forze (in viola) tengono saldamente la zona della mia Capitale (i Porti Grigi) e si stanno assestando a ridosso delle montagne Nebbiose, mentre ho azzardato una scorreria via mare, per aprire un terzo fronte più a sud, in modo da tenermi aperto a varie possibilità.

Al momento, causa coprifuoco e provvedimenti vari, la campagna è IN PAUSA.
I primi sono stati turni di assestamento ed espansione territoriale un po' per tutti.
