Ho scelto Frodo perchè è uno dei miei personaggi preferiti. Nonostante tutti i suoi difetti, i suoi errori e le prove che è chiamato ad affrontare, non cede mai alla rabbia, si sforza fino all'ultimo di compiere il suo dovere e conserva sempre la pietà verso gli altri (Gollum, i ruffiani, Saruman stesso). E' consapevole del proprio "fallimento", essendosi arrogato il possesso dell'Anello nella voragine del fato, così come è consapevole che fu proprio il suo atto di pietà verso Gollum ad aver permesso la caduta di Sauron. Un personaggio che trasuda Sehnsucht da tutti i pori!
